LEAD Belgium was a professional association dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, championing diversity, and building bridges across Belgium's professional communities. Established in 2007 as the Association Belge des Professionnels Musulmans (ABPM), it evolved into a vibrant platform empowering all Belgian professionals and entrepreneurs, regardless of their background. Over nearly two decades, LEAD Belgium contributed significantly to the development of its members by enhancing their visibility, promoting the entrepreneurial spirit, reinforcing ethical practices in business, and participating in public debates on pertinent issues. The organization also emphasized social cohesion and solidarity within the professional sphere. The association offered a range of services, including entrepreneurial development programs and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at business growth and social impact. Key programs included the LEAD Academy, which provided training sessions, seminars, and workshops to help entrepreneurs master business fundamentals; Women Who LEAD, an empowerment program fostering women's professional growth and leadership; WoBizz, supporting female entrepreneurs across Belgium; and Be My Coach!, assisting professionals aged 50 and over in returning to employment. LEAD Belgium also engaged in advocacy by presenting policy memorandums and recommendations to public authorities on employment, entrepreneurship, and diversity. Through the Fonds Noria, Belgium's first ethical philanthropy fund, the organization financed social responsibility projects with measurable community impact. Additionally, LEAD Belgium organized international trade missions to strengthen collaborations and broaden horizons for Belgian entrepreneurs, and facilitated numerous networking events to create lasting professional connections. After 19 years of dedicated service, LEAD Belgium announced its closure, expressing gratitude to its members, partners, volunteers, and supporters for their contributions to the organization's mission and achievements.
