The Centre du Cinéma et de l'Audiovisuel (CCA) was established on January 1, 1995, as a separate management service under Article 140 of the coordinated State accounting laws dated July 17, 1991. (audiovisuel.cfwb.be ) The CCA's responsibilities encompass several key areas: Production and Promotion Support : Providing assistance for the production or co-production of professional films, promoting Belgian French-language cinema, and encouraging the distribution of quality films through initiatives like the Réseau Action Culturelle Cinéma (RACC). (audiovisuel.cfwb.be ) Subsidies and Quality Incentives : Granting subsidies for film distribution and awarding quality bonuses to outstanding audiovisual works.
