De Warande

De Warande is a club for Flemish people in Brussels, established in 1988 to enhance the Flemish presence in the capital. Over thirty-five years, it has become synonymous with prosperity, dynamism, and international engagement, serving as a home for exchanging knowledge and sharing insights among leaders from various fields. Originally, a "warande" was a meadow for draft horses; today, it symbolizes a space for gaining knowledge and ideas. De Warande fosters a diverse community respectful of different opinions and beliefs, facilitating connections in the economic, academic, political, and artistic realms. The club conducts a variety of activities, including weekly online events, Warande walks, bubble BBQs, and an open-air café, alongside events like Working Lunches, Debate Evenings, and Club Tables that encourage guest participation. The environment is designed to inspire, believing that valuable change comes from broadening perspectives. Members are united by a common goal to make a difference, welcoming young professionals and experienced leaders alike. The recent launch of a contemporary, user-friendly website reflects the club's commitment to maintaining its style and allure while enhancing member interaction.
