SYNTRA Brussel is a Dutch-language training center in Brussels dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship through customized programs for self-employed individuals and SMEs. As a recognized Dutch-speaking training center for the self-employed and SMEs, SYNTRA Brussel aims to be a bridge for everyone who wants to move forward. Entrepreneurial spirit is central to our training programs. Our mission is to bring more entrepreneurship to our vibrant, unique, and multicultural capital, Brussels. We achieve this by offering high-quality, practice-oriented training and education to apprentices, young adults, aspiring and established self-employed individuals, SMEs, and their employees. 'Verbrusselen' is a key concept in our operations, meaning we tailor our programs to the multicultural entrepreneurship that thrives in Brussels. Language, communication, and collaboration with Brussels-based partners are essential tools to reach this goal. Since 2012, our language policy has been a strategic cornerstone in enhancing the accessibility of our programs for non-Dutch-speaking and potential non-Dutch-speaking students, without compromising quality or lowering educational standards. (syntrabrussel.be ) SYNTRA Brussel offers various training formats to cater to different target groups: Dual Training Programs : For individuals aged 15 to 25, combining work and learning in various sectors, receiving a training allowance. Full-Time Day Programs : For those 18 and older with a secondary education diploma, seeking practical training to establish themselves as self-employed or work as employees. Day Programs : For individuals looking to learn a trade, start their own business, or retrain, with classes held during the day. Evening & Saturday Programs : For those unable to attend daytime classes, offering practical vocational training in the evenings or on weekends. Continuing Education : For business owners wishing to stay updated on new trends and techniques, with sector-specific refresher courses covering techniques, skills, expertise, and current events. Additionally, from September 2026, our new workshops will be located in the historic Gare Maritime at the Tour & Taxis site, providing state-of-the-art facilities for courses in electricity, plumbing, bicycle repair, hairdressing, fashion, and sustainable energy.
