Tracé Brussels

Tracé Brussel vzw is a Brussels-based Dutch-speaking organization dedicated to addressing unemployment in the region. Its mission is to strengthen the position of all job seekers in the labor market, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups. The organization adopts a broad approach, developing innovative pathways to education, employment, and a solidarity economy. For job seekers seeking training opportunities, Tracé Brussel vzw organizes the Training Fair "I search. I find my training" on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at LaVallée in Molenbeek, from 10 am to 4 pm. This event features over 35 Dutch-speaking and bilingual training centers, schools, and organizations ready to assist attendees. Participants can ask questions, obtain information, and engage in free information sessions and short workshops to discover their talents and learn how to apply them in the labor market. Building on the success of its first internship networking event, Tracé Brussel vzw continues to foster strong collaborations between schools and employers in Brussels. On January 19, the organization brings together career counselors, companies, schools, and related partners to exchange ideas and solutions regarding workplace learning. This inspiring afternoon is filled with knowledge sharing, networking, and best practices, aiming to build high-quality internships for young people in Brussels. Job seekers can receive personalized guidance from Tracé Brussel vzw's consultants. Services include assistance in finding suitable vocational training, information about Dutch language classes, CV preparation, and job application coaching. The organization provides comprehensive support to help individuals find appropriate jobs that match their talents and competencies. Leerwinkel Brussel, a service of Tracé Brussel vzw, addresses all learning-related questions. It informs, guides, and orients Brussels residents aged fifteen and over who are interested in Dutch-language educational pathways, offering information about Dutch-language education and training opportunities in Brussels. Jump naar Werk coaches Brussels students in their final year of Dutch-language secondary education during their initial steps toward the labor market. Infopunt Jobstudent Brussel offers free assistance to young people living or studying in Brussels with CV updates, job application tips, the student@work certificate, and other questions about student jobs. The project 'Ik zoek, ik vind mijn traject' provides individual guidance for young people who are temporarily uncertain about their educational or career direction. Together, they explore suitable educational, professional, or alternative paths to prevent these young people from disengaging. To facilitate a smooth transition from classroom to workplace, Tracé Brussel vzw, through the role of Workplace Learning Bridge Figure, is committed to expanding internship opportunities for Dutch-speaking secondary schools in Brussels, thereby guiding young people toward the workforce. The organization supports the development of dual learning in Brussels and chairs the regional consultation forum for dual learning in the Brussels-Capital Region. Recognized by the Brussels-Capital Region as a social economy advisory agency, Tracé Brussel vzw offers information and advice, support in preparing recognition and financing dossiers, and assistance for recognized projects. Since 2023, Digibank Brussel has been supporting Brussels residents with digital questions through digital points and tailored training. Since autumn 2025, the Digibank has also focused on volunteers. Through the DigiMate project, newcomers have the opportunity to use their digital skills as digital helpers, practice their Dutch, and expand their network. In recent years, as the world has become increasingly digital—affecting job searches, banking, enrolling children in activities, and homework—Tracé Brussel vzw recognizes that these changes are not equally straightforward for all Brussels residents.
