VUB TechTransfer

VUB TechTransfer facilitates cooperation between the VUB, industry and society. Our mission is to valorise scientific research results in order to make an innovative contribution to improve society. At the Vrije Universiteit Brussel we combine innovative research and cooperation with the aim of providing answers to societal challenges. Innovation means moving forward. In this manner, we create a positive impact on people's lives and build a better world. For this, a sustainable cooperation between academics, companies and stakeholders is highly necessary. The Vrije Universiteit Brussel aims to be a pioneer in fundamental, strategic and applied research with an international orientation. Together with VUB Foundation, the philanthropic fundraising team, and Crosstalks, the interdisciplinary networking platform, VUB TechTransfer forms the Vice-rectorate Innovation & Industry Relations, headed by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Peter Schelkens. VUB TechTransfer is also the operational team of the vice-rectorate.
