Les Jeunes Entreprises asbl (LJE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship among young people aged 8 to 25 in Brussels and Wallonia. Through practical, experience-oriented programs grounded in the "learning by doing" methodology, LJE aims to develop entrepreneurial skills and inspire youth to become agents of positive change by bridging the gap between education and the business world. LJE offers five distinct programs tailored to different educational levels: Explor'cité : Designed for primary school students, this program introduces the basics of entrepreneurship through interactive activities. Futur Défi : Targeted at primary school students, this initiative encourages creative thinking and problem-solving skills. Défidée : Aimed at secondary school students, this program focuses on developing innovative ideas and entrepreneurial projects. Mini-Entreprise : Also for secondary school students, this initiative allows participants to create and manage their own mini-companies, providing hands-on business experience. Young Enterprise Project (YEP) : Intended for higher education students, YEP offers an opportunity to develop and implement business projects in a real-world context. In addition to these programs, LJE organizes events such as the LJE Challenge, which showcases the achievements of participants across all educational levels. The organization also collaborates with partners like EPHEC to host competitions, including the Best Website Competition for Mini-Enterprises. LJE is a member of Junior Achievement Europe, aligning with a broader network committed to entrepreneurship education. The organization upholds a strict privacy policy, ensuring that personal data collected during program registration is used solely for program organization and is not shared with external parties. Participants also grant LJE the right to use photographs taken during programs for promotional purposes, with a commitment to respecting individual privacy and dignity. By offering these comprehensive programs and maintaining strong ethical standards, LJE plays a pivotal role in nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among young people in the region.
