Ubiz is a corporate finance firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and fundraising activities. We offer comprehensive services to entrepreneurs, encompassing documentation preparation—including investment decks and business plans—investor search, terms negotiation, and support through to closing. With physical offices in Brussels and Paris, our mandates extend across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Our clientele primarily consists of tech startups with a minimum turnover of €1 million, seasoned entrepreneurs pursuing aggressive external growth strategies, greenfield infrastructure projects in post-development or pre-construction phases, promising biotech companies post-successful Phase 1 clinical trials, agtech and foodtech companies addressing climate change challenges, and business owners seeking to sell their companies. Ubiz maintains a highly diverse and international investment network. While we prioritize companies with a positive impact on the planet, we remain practical and open to supporting fast-growing neutral companies. As a tech-focused corporate finance boutique, we provide tailored financial advisory services to European and African startups in sectors such as mobility, food, fashion, and deeptech. Our primary focus is on assisting startups and scale-ups in their fundraising journeys, particularly from post-seed to Series A stages. Our team comprises four entrepreneurs—two senior and two junior—with over 20 years of experience and a proven track record. Headquartered in Brussels, we also have a physical presence in Paris. In 2021, Ubiz merged with the corporate finance branch of Havila Partners Ltd., a firm with 25 years of experience, thereby expanding our corporate finance activities across various sectors, including tech, agro-industry, medtech/biotech, retail, telecommunications, infrastructures, fintech, mobility, and hospitality. We cater to fundraising needs starting from a minimum of €3 million, covering Series A, B, C, and D rounds. Over the past 25 years, our team has successfully completed more than 200 deals—including M&A, fundraising, and structured finance—in Western Europe (Benelux, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, UK) and Africa (primarily CEMAC and CEDAO regions). In late 2020, we established a representation in India to facilitate M&A operations between Europe, Africa, and India. Our collaborations are primarily with venture capital and private equity funds, family offices, corporate funds, and other qualified investors. Our team members bring diverse expertise across various sectors. Tanguy has extensive experience in advertising, e-learning, power plants, consulting, logistics, operations, medical devices, banking and payment, hospitality, AR/VR, and corporate finance. He excels in quickly grasping and synthesizing concepts and is adept at structuring. Senior Advisor Stéphane is well-versed in banking and payment, software, security, e-commerce, marketplaces, and corporate finance. Having founded and successfully exited a 120-employee company (Certeurope), he has firsthand experience with the entrepreneurial journey. His preferred industries include IT/tech, fintech, and marketplaces.
