L'abeille blanche

L'Abeille Blanche, established in 2021 by Marcus Rubin and Jonathan Cousinne, is a dynamic art center located at Rue des Brasseurs 9, 1000 Brussels. This creative hub encompasses a tattoo parlor, artist studios, a boutique, and workshops, all dedicated to fostering inclusion, diversity, and artistic freedom. The inception of L'Abeille Blanche was inspired by a visit to Rivoli 59 in Paris, a space dedicated to artist studios open to the public. This experience ignited a vision to create an environment where art and inclusion intersect, providing every artist with a platform to thrive. In the tattoo industry, often characterized by restrictive boundaries, L'Abeille Blanche endeavors to dismantle these barriers. Marcus and Jonathan advocate for an artistic community that celebrates diversity, legitimizing every form of expression, whether it be paint on canvas or ink on skin. At L'Abeille Blanche, the mission is straightforward: to offer a unique, welcoming, and accessible tattoo experience for all. The collective comprises approximately fifteen artists with varied styles, available both by appointment and without appointment every day. Whether clients arrive with their own ideas or choose from hundreds of original flash designs, the team strives to make each experience creative, enjoyable, and unforgettable. Whether it's a first tattoo or one of many, clients will find a friendly, queer-friendly, and welcoming atmosphere. The center adheres to the highest standards of hygiene, sterilization, and safety. Each artist works with vegan and sterile equipment in a clean and safe environment. Post-session, clients receive personalized advice and the best care products to ensure optimal healing and lasting results. Believing that tattooing should be accessible to everyone, L'Abeille Blanche offers prices starting at €50. Additionally, a Flash Day is organized every first Saturday of the month, featuring exclusive designs at discounted prices. The boutique also showcases local designers on consignment, supporting the Brussels art scene and making each visit even more inspiring. All major bank cards are accepted. L'Abeille Blanche is an LGBTQIA+ friendly and safer space. The boutique, located at Rue des Brasseurs 9, 1000 Brussels, is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and is closed on Mondays. Tattoos are accepted without appointment during these hours. Marcus Rubin, born in Switzerland in 1996, embodies the fusion of tattoo art and visual storytelling. His experience as a professional tattoo artist and illustrator in Belgium brings artistic richness to L'Abeille Blanche. Rooted in his passion, Marcus aspires to write and illustrate children's books, adding a narrative dimension to his artistic expression. Born in Belgium in 1988, Jonathan Cousinne brings an architectural perspective to L'Abeille Blanche. An architect by training with a master's degree from ULB, Jonathan has worked his way through various offices in Belgium and Switzerland. Driven by his passion for comics and drawing, Jonathan chose to transition from architecture to art, bringing with him a deep understanding of financial and administrative management. L'Abeille Blanche is more than just an artistic project; it is a declaration of inclusion, a vibrant call to all artists, regardless of their style, identity, or orientation. It is a creative hive where talents buzz, ideas flourish, and everyone contributes to the richness of the artistic honey created together. Art enthusiasts, dreamers, and inclusion seekers are invited to join in this artistic adventure. Together, let's cultivate art, celebrate diversity, and make L'Abeille Blanche a vibrant place where every artist finds their place to shine.
