EUROCORD

Eurocord is a European association representing manufacturers of rope, twine, and netting, along with their suppliers and affiliated industries. The association promotes dialogue among its members across Europe and collaborates closely with the European Commission on matters of mutual interest. (eurocord.com ) Eurocord's primary objectives include: Promoting dialogue and exchange in fields of common interest among its industries. Defending EU members against unfair competition. Studying and resolving common problems of general interest. Gathering and disseminating publicly available technical information among its members. (eurocord.com ) The association has active Technical Committees focused on the ongoing development of international standards, guidelines, test methods, and other technical documents for rope, cordage, twine, and netting products. Technical meetings are held three times per year, and all Eurocord members are welcome to attend. (eurocord.com ) Eurocord represents the interests of European manufacturers producing a range of products, including: Fiber ropes Fishing nets Raschel nets Baler twines Netwraps Silage films The association also includes associate and academic members such as fiber and polymer producers, machinery producers, coating producers, and technical and testing companies. Additionally, Eurocord cooperates with affiliate members, which are manufacturing companies in the ropes and nets business located outside the EU 27.
