Cloud Seven is a hybrid work, life, and art center located in the heart of Brussels' fashion and design district. (cloudseven.be ) Its mission is to create an immersive environment that seamlessly integrates art into daily work life, fostering inspiration, creativity, and productivity. (cloudseven.be ) The front building, constructed in the 1820s, encompasses coworking areas, two flats for long-term living, two lofts for short-term stays, a multimedia room, a bar, and a wellness center. (cloudseven.be ) The rear building, built in the 1920s, is dedicated to hosting temporary and semi-permanent exhibitions featuring works from the Frédéric de Goldschmidt Collection. (cloudseven.be ) Cloud Seven offers meticulously designed workspaces curated with captivating pieces from Frédéric de Goldschmidt’s collection. (cloudseven.be ) Membership options include daily passes, flex desks, dedicated desks, and private offices, catering to freelancers, small teams, and individuals seeking a dynamic and inspiring work environment. (cloudseven.be ) Additional amenities include the Cloud Bar, an in-house bar where members and loft residents can connect and relax; Studio 7, a fully equipped screening room and digital venue; and a wellness center comprising a gym and a hammam, providing a space to refresh and take care of mind, body, and soul. (cloudseven.be ) Cloud Seven is also the home of Frédéric de Goldschmidt’s collection, which consists mostly of works by emerging artists in dialogue with pieces from historical movements in the 1960s and 70s, including the Zero Group, Arte Povera, conceptual, and minimal art. (cloudseven.be ) The exhibition spaces are accessible from the coworking space, with visiting hours for the general public and extended hours during Art Brussels and Brussels Gallery Weekend. (cloudseven.be ) Frédéric de Goldschmidt, a French art collector based in Brussels, founded Cloud Seven. Following studies in business, communication, and anthropology, he produced interactive media, TV programs, and films, such as "Mobile Homes" (Directors’ Fortnight, Cannes, 2018). He has been collecting contemporary art since 2008, supporting emerging artists, engaging with curators, and sharing his collection with the public. He has co-curated exhibitions such as "Not Really Really" (2015), "White Covers" (2017), and "Inaspettatamente" (2021). He sits on the acquisition committee of Fondation KANAL, Brussels, and is the President of the Prix des Amis du Palais de Tokyo, Paris.
