cityfab 3

Cityfab 3 is a Brussels fablab focused on urban planning, architecture, and product design, providing a welcoming workspace for entrepreneurs, designers, artists, and DIY enthusiasts. Equipped with 3D printers, CNC milling machines, laser cutters, waterjet cutters, and digital embroidery machines, Cityfab 3 specializes in small and medium series production and emphasizes reuse. The fablab encourages innovation by offering accessible professional equipment with technical expertise from a fabmanager to support projects. All machines are available for rental. Cityfab 3 also hosts various events, including free workshops and summer courses for children aged 8 to 12 that explore creative and technological techniques. The MakerFaire.Brussels, an innovation festival, showcases a blend of local production and technology through activities such as robot races and upcycling workshops. The fablab supports artists like Dewi Brunet, a folding artist exploring the relationship between living beings and robots, and Justine Taillard, a visual artist examining domestic spaces. Throughout the year, Cityfab 3 organizes open days, exhibitions, conferences, and workshops, especially highlighted during Design September, to showcase the work of its makers.
