The Collectif Accessibilité Wallonie Bruxelles (CAWaB) is a coalition of 22 associations dedicated to advocating for and promoting accessibility for Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM), aiming to ensure autonomous access to all facets of society. Buildings : Promoting accessible, compliant, and usable public and private spaces for all. Communication : Ensuring information is accessible in understandable and inclusive formats. Housing : Advocating for adapted housing solutions to promote independent living at home. Elections : Guaranteeing effective access to polling stations, enabling everyone to exercise their right to vote without obstacles. Events : Striving for fully accessible events, allowing everyone to participate independently in social and cultural life. Healthcare : Making the entire healthcare journey accessible and equitable, so that everyone can receive care in dignified conditions adapted to their needs. Cross-cutting Policy : Collaborating with policymakers and public authorities to ensure that accessibility is fully integrated into legislation, public policies, and institutional decisions.
