FONDYTEST

Fondytest originated as a university project in 2001 at the Université catholique de Louvain under the guidance of Professor Alain Holeyman. The project's primary objective was to study and enhance dynamic load testing methodologies. A significant component involved developing a testing prototype—a free-fall hammer—designed to precisely control drop height to the centimeter and manage drop eccentricity. Additionally, the project focused on refining the inverse analysis procedure used to process test results. This comprehensive approach led to a thorough understanding of the advantages and limitations associated with dynamic load testing. In 2018, the project evolved into a spin-off company, facilitated by an Innoviris grant. Since then, Fondytest has been composed of a dedicated team of enthusiastic engineers committed to offering expertise in pile testing and geotechnical consulting. The Fondytest project has been supported by numerous talented individuals and esteemed organizations.
